FAQs

What do I wear? What do I bring?

Comfy, tight fitting workout attire. Best to cover knees and armpits for comfort. No jewelry, zippers, snaps or rivets that could snag on fabric. Also I suggest bringing water, a notebook and a phone for videos. I have a space to store belongings.

Can I participate in an aerial class if I’m not flexible?

Absolutely! Everything can be modified to accommodate flexibility levels.

Can I participate in an aerial class if I don’t have upper body strength?

You betcha! You’ll build your strength in class. Strength training does help though. Here is a personal trainer recommendations.

Can I practice skills at Open Gym that I found on the internet?

Yes and it’s important to be honest with yourself. Are you training within your skill level? If so, this is appropriate. I suggest live coaching when navigating uncharted territory. This is mostly just a safety concern.

Should I be aware of my caffeine intake?

Caffeine stimulates the brain and nervous system. Especially when it comes to spinning, this can increase symptoms of motion sickness.
